Crock Pot Pork Chops and Potatoes

Simple and savory, Crock Pot Pork Chops with Potatoes gets it’s hearty taste from none other than a packet of Onion Soup Mix. No joke. Blended with chicken broth and butter, the pork chops and potatoes come out tender, juicy, and full of flavor.

Ingredients

4 thick cut pork chops

1 packet onion soup mix

1 c. chicken broth

4 Tbsp. butter, melted

1/2 tsp. pepper

4 red potatoes, washed and cut into bite-sized pieces

salt to taste

Directions

  1. Place pork chops and potatoes in the Crock Pot.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together broth, butter, onion soup mix and pepper.
  3. Pour over pork chops and potatoes.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours (Mine were fork tender after 7 hours).
