Fabric-Wrapped Fall Wreath

Fabric and ribbon-wrapped wreaths are my favorite to make. Not just because they’re pretty and inexpensive, but because they’re so easy to make and can be as simple or elaborate as you want.

The concept is simple–get a styrofoam wreath form, find a fun seasonal fabric or ribbon, wrap and glue as you go, then add some embellishments. You can fill it up completely or just add a little bit of floral, wood cut-outs, bows…just about anything.

Here’s what you need:

Supplies

1/2 yd. fall fabric, cut into 1 1/2″-2″ wide strips

hot glue gun

faux floral bushes, spray, picks, leaves, wood cutouts, etc…

ribbon or premade bows

scissors

Directions

  1. Wrap the wreath form with strips of fabric until completely covered. Secure the fabric to the wreath every couple of inches with hot glue.

2. Once the wreath is wrapped, Add your pieces of flair. I glued a pre-made floral bunch, a couple of faux leaves, a berry pick and a pumpkin pick to the right side of the wreath.

3. I glued a pre-made bow to the base of the floral bunch and added another ribbon and bow to the top for hanging.

So easy! For more fall inspiration, check out the Seasonal and Holiday page!
