The thought of making healthy meals from scratch every single day makes me want to throw my cookware out the window and become a squatter indefinitely at McDonald’s. It’s just not practical. Plus, there are so many semi-homemade options out there, where just by adding a few little extras, the dish is transformed, like mini ravioli! It’s healthier than fast food, it’s cheap, easy, and our kids actually like it. Here’s what you need:
Ingredients
2 cans Chef Boyardee (or generic) Mini Ravioli
1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
1/2 c. chopped onions
1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning (or make it yourself. See the recipe here.)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Optional:
3/4 c. sour cream
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
Grated Parmesan
Directions
- Brown hamburger over medium heat and drain. Return to skillet.
- Stir in Mini Ravioli with sauce, chopped onions, and seasoning. Stir over medium heat until onions are translucent and sauce is bubbling.
- If you would like to make a creamier dish, add sour cream and shredded cheese and stir until the cheese is melted and blended.
- Serve warm.
