Chicken and Rice is a recipe that you can truly make your own just by adding the seasoning that you like. It’s a creamy recipe that is good all by itself with just some salt and pepper, but to spice things up, you can also use a seasoning blend like Italian Seasoning, Poultry Seasoning, or Old Bay Seasoning like I used. Ingredients
3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (frozen or fresh)
3 cans Cream of Chicken soup, undiluted
1 c. water
1 c. celery, chopped
1 Tbsp Old Bay seasoning (or other spice blend)
2 c. instant white rice
Directions
1. Place chicken in the bottom of the Crock Pot.
2. In a large bowl, mix together Cream of Chicken soup, water, celery, and Old Bay seasoning. Pour over chicken.
3. Cook and cover on low for 2 hours, then stir in the rice and continue cooking for 5 hours. (You can also cook the rice separately and stir it in at the end.
4. Remove chicken, cut into strips, and return it to the Crock Pot.
5. Serve hot.
