It might seem a little weird to have apples and pork chops together, but these two are actually a great pair and are perfect for fall. Add cinnamon and brown sugar and you get the perfect combo of sweet and savory. No need for extra water; the apples provide all the moisture the pork chops need to cook up perfectly tender. The bet part–it’s cheap and easy to make.

6 boneless pork chops
4 Gala apples, cored and sliced
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
