The girls took a break from school work to make some DIY Moisturizing Hand Scrub and as you can see in the videos below, we had a lot of fun making it! Every year for Mother’s Day, we make a batch for my mom. She spends so much time maintaining her landscaping (or as she likes to call it, ‘playing in the dirt’). Not only will it clean hands, but it exfoliates and moisturizes too. It’s also cheap and easy to make. Here’s what you need:
Supplies
2 c. granulated sugar
Dawn Ultra Gentle Clean
Mason Jar or other airtight container (pint size)
Spoon or small spatula
Mixing bowl
canning funnel (optional)
Directions
- Pour two cups of sugar into a small mixing bowl.
- Slowly add the Dawn dish soap, stirring as you go. Add enough dish soap to make the mixture the consistency of pancake mix.
- Pour into a Mason jar and seal. That’s all! Check out the videos below of Sophie and Emmie making and demonstrating the hand scrub!
