Homemade Peppermint Foot Scrub {3 Ingredients!}

homemade peppermint foot scrub

Peppermint Foot Scrub is the perfect homemade gift for anyone in need of pampered feet. (Who doesn’t, right?) There are only 3 ingredients, all of which are natural, and it smells like Christmas in a jar. Yum! I love that peppermint has a cooling, energizing effect on tired feet.

Peppermint oil is also great for clearing congestion and helping with digestion. Combined with Epson salt which is known for drawing toxins out of the body, you have a scrub that not only smells and feels great, but is good for your body too!

Supplies

1/4 cup carrier oil (almond, grapeseed or jojoba oil is my vote.) Jojoba is very yellow so your scrub will be too. The more clear your oil, the more white the salt will look.
1 cup Epson salt
5-7 drops peppermint essential oil (make sure it’s safe for skin. My favorite is here.)

Directions

Pour Epson salt into a mixing bowl. Stir in carrier oil until salt is coated. Add peppermint essential oil and stir. Transfer to an airtight jar.

It’s such an easy foot scrub to make, and feels soooo good on your feet. For more homemade gift ideas, check out the Christmas page!

The tutorial on FB Live didn’t go as planned but still fun! I compared the yellow (jojoba oil) scrub to yellow snow. The scrub featured uses almond oil. But the message was good; I even included one of my favorite passages–John 16:33. Check it out here:
