Crock Pot Chicken and Stuffing

Crock Pot Chicken and Stuffing is truly as good as it sounds. And of course, easy! It’s a very creamy and savory recipe so if you need something on the lighter side, feel free to substitute the broth, soup and sour cream for low-sodium or fat-free alternatives. Here’s what you need:

Ingredients

4 frozen chicken breasts

1 packet Italian Seasoning

1 can Cream of Chicken Soup (10.5 oz can)

1 c. chicken broth

1/2 c. chopped onions (I use frozen)

8 oz. sour cream

6 oz. box stuffing mix (any kind will work. If you use Savory Herbs, then don’t add the Italian Seasoning)

Directions

  1. Place the chicken breast on the bottom of the Crock Pot.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together, seasoning, salt and pepper, Cream of Chicken soup, chicken broth, onions, stuffing, and sour cream.
  3. Pour over the chicken breast.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours. Serve immediately!

Homemade Italian Seasoning

1 Tbsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. dried basil
1/2 tsp. dried rosemary
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. salt
