Trying to figure out where to get useful, legit information about all things autism can be overwhelming. Especially in the beginning when you don’t even know what you don’t know. Don’t worry, sis. I’ve created a list of great FB pages, apps, YouTube channels, and websites that I have found to be helpful for Jack and Luke.

Begin Today.

Whether you check out the links below or look elsewhere, I encourage you to start the process of educating yourself about developmental milestones, delays and autism today.  The simple truth is that you do not have an unlimited amount of time to sit on information and stew over it. Time is of the essence. The sooner you gain knowledge, the sooner you can make informed decisions about intervention, testing, and working with your child at home.

“Wait and See” is an antiquated approach to dealing with developmental delays in children (I talk all about this on my Facebook page.) Parents had to wait and see back in the day because there simply were no early intervention resources available. Today, it serves no one. Now that we have the resources, it’s critical that we take advantage of them.
