Do you have a VSCO girl in your life? It’s a tween/teen trend that has blown up and includes things like scrunchies, puka shell necklaces, Hydro Flasks and Birkenstocks. At first, I thought it was going to be a very short-lived trend. But VSCO girls are everywhere here in this area. Even in my own house.

Because it’s fairly new, there aren’t many Christmas ornaments and decor that are VSCO girl-related. You might be thinking ‘who cares? It’s just a trend.’ Well, ornaments for me represent a moment in my and my family’s lives. This is what Sophie is into right now, so I wanted to make sure we came up with an ornament to mark this moment in her life. Also, it’s super cute and easy to make. It’s going to be fun to see what conversations we have about it 10, 15, and even 20 years from now.
Anyway, the supplies are simple and there are a lot of different ways to make this ornament your own. So don’t be afraid to get creative! Here’s all that you will need:
Supplies
Regular mouth canning ring
Scrunchie
Glue gun
Ribbon or string
Scissors
Pom poms
Directions
Glue the pom poms to the inner rim of the canning ring.
Stretch the scrunchie around the canning ring and glue it.
Attach a string or ribbon with a dot of glue in the back.
